Studying at the eLearning Academy for Communication is  flexible, easy and location-independent. And so is eLearning Academys organisation. The organisation is located close to the University of Applied Sciences (UAS) Burgenland in an office that formerly held the administration building of Esterhazy Palace in Eisenstadt, a small town 45 kilometres South of Vienna.

The eLearning Academy works with a number of independent module managers who get to know the students through their distance learning courses. Only a small team works exclusively for eLAC. Meet the team here:

Mag. (FH) Anria Brandstätter, MA
Head of Student and Prospective Student Service

Anria Brandstätter holds two master’s degrees in marketing communications. She advises interested parties and, as programme manager, Anria is the first point of contact for all student issues. If Anria isn’t at the office, you’ll find her in her garden.

Mag. Katharina Malanguka
Head of Office- & Qualitymanagment

Katharina Malanguka, who studied sociology, is responsible for the administration and is in charge of finances, correspondence and qualitymanagment. In addition, she is a module instructor in the module “Scientific Work”. When Katharina is not working on the computer, she plays the piano or relaxes in the forest.

Cornelia Dell is responsible for the strategic and operational development of our marketing and the editorial support of our modules. With her diploma as an advertising expert, her bachelor’s degree in event management and her master’s degree in communication, she has the corresponding 360° marketing and project management know-how. In her free time she travels with her family or judges at vaulting competitions.

Christian Ameseder, MA
Head of Online Learning Technology

Christian Ameseder is a graduate of the University of Applied Sciences (UAS) Burgenland’s programme Information|Media|Communication and is also a professional designer. He is responsible for the continuous development of the online teaching design. If Christian doesn’t react immediately to bugs in the teaching design, he may be off to a kendo tournament or busy with training Iaido.

Portraitbild Michael Roither

Prof. (FH) Mag. Dr. Michael Roither
Managing director

Michael Roither is in charge of keeping the organisation of the eLearning Academy operational. He works with students in the programme in courses related to his favourite subjects crisis communications, communication theories and communication ethics. If Michael happens to be late with the module feedback, then he’s most probably on tour with his band.

Prof. (FH) Mag. Dr. Silvia Ettl-Huber
Responsibility for the programme contents

Silvia Ettl-Huber is co-owner of eLearning Academy and develops ideas for new programmes. Students come in contact with her when she teaches her favourite subjects storytelling and scientific writing. When Silvia is not working out module feedback, she is probably out and about trail riding.
